The first Regional YP this sessional year has arrived!

The Vancouver Youth Parliament (VYP) is the longest running Regional Youth Parliament. Members from Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Squamish, and Whistler hold session annually to debate legislation, plan projects, and connect with passionate youth from across the region. The 32nd VYP will take place from February 15-17 at UBC, and is open for youth between 14 and 18 inclusive. Ambassadors (those who reside outside the VYP boundaries) travelling to Vancouver will be billeted by members living in the area, unless other arrangements were made.

Our Chief Returning Officer Karina Valcke-Beckett will notify all applicants by email or mail as to their acceptance status by early February. Accepted Members will be provided with an orientation package prior to session.
